Payment information (UPI ID, bank account details, RuPay card details)

Communications with us (support requests, feedback)

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the GoFans platform
To process payments and distribute creator earnings
To moderate content using AI and human review
To label SGI content and embed tamper-resistant metadata as required by IT Rules 2026
To comply with Indian law and regulatory requirements
To send mandatory quarterly advisories as required by IT Rules 2026
To detect and prevent fraud or policy violations
To preserve evidence for law enforcement upon lawful request

3. Content Moderation

GoFans uses AI systems and human moderators to review uploaded content. Content is scanned to ensure compliance with our policies and Indian law. This process is automated and applied to all uploaded material. Content that violates our policies may be removed and your account may be suspended or terminated.

4. SGI Metadata and Labelling

For content declared as Synthetically Generated Information (SGI), GoFans embeds permanent, tamper-resistant metadata containing a unique identifier traceable to our system. Continuous, prominent on-screen labels are applied to identify the content as synthetic. This metadata cannot be removed by users and is retained for evidentiary purposes.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data with:

Payment processors to facilitate UPI, RuPay, and NEFT transactions
Law enforcement when required by Indian law
Service providers who assist in platform operations
Victims or their authorized representatives upon lawful process to disclose SGI violators

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

7. Your Rights

Under Indian law, you have the right to:

Access your personal data
Correct inaccurate information
Request deletion of your data
Withdraw consent for data processing

8. Data Retention

Upon account deletion or the removal of content, GoFans is legally obligated to retain user registration data, upload logs, and relevant metadata for a minimum of 180 days for investigatory purposes as required by IT Rules 2026. SGI metadata is retained for the duration required by law.

9. Mandatory Quarterly Advisories

By using GoFans, you consent to receiving mandatory notifications at least once every three months via email, push notification, or in-app pop-up. These advisories detail the platform's Terms of Service, the prohibition of unlawful SGI/deepfakes, and the legal and penal consequences of violating these rules.

10. Grievance Redressal

GoFans provides a dedicated Grievance Officer with contact details permanently displayed on the platform. Grievances are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 7 days. Urgent content-related grievances are resolved within 36 hours. Contact: grievance@gofans.in

11. Cookies

GoFans uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and analyze usage patterns. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

12. Children's Privacy

GoFans is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
