Community Guidelines

GoFans exists to help genuine creators — fitness trainers, educators, musicians, artists, vloggers, coaches — earn directly from the fans who love their work. These Guidelines keep the Platform safe, legal, and worth belonging to. They apply to all content and behaviour on www.gofans.in and app.gofans.in, including posts, media, messages, comments, profiles, and live interactions.
These Guidelines work together with our Terms & Conditions and are enforced by a combination of automated tools and human review.
What's Not Allowed
1. Adult & Sexually Explicit Content — Zero Tolerance
- No nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit material of any kind.
- No sexually suggestive content designed to arouse, including implied nudity or sexualized framing.
- No solicitation or advertisement of sexual services.
This applies to paid and free content equally, including private messages. GoFans is not an adult-content platform, and this rule has no exceptions.
2. Content Involving Minors
- Absolute zero tolerance for any sexual, exploitative, abusive, or endangering content involving anyone under 18.
- Such content is removed immediately, accounts are terminated permanently, and we report to law-enforcement authorities and relevant bodies as required by law.
3. Intellectual Property Violations
- Only upload content you created or have rights to. No pirated courses, movies, music, sports streams, or re-uploads of other creators' paid content.
- Repeat infringers will be permanently removed.
4. Violence, Hate & Harassment
- No threats, incitement to violence, or glorification of violent acts.
- No hate speech or attacks on people based on religion, caste, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.
- No bullying, stalking, doxxing (publishing private information), or coordinated harassment.
5. Illegal Activities
- No promotion or facilitation of illegal acts: sale of drugs or weapons, gambling/betting, financial scams, hacking services, or counterfeit goods.
- No money laundering or use of the Platform to move funds unrelated to genuine creator content.
6. Fraud & Misrepresentation
- No impersonating another person, creator, or brand.
- No fake giveaways, pyramid/MLM recruitment, or deceptive claims (including fake earnings claims).
- No purchasing fake engagement or manipulating Platform metrics.
7. Harmful or Dangerous Content
- No content promoting self-harm, eating disorders, or dangerous challenges.
- No medical misinformation likely to cause real-world harm.
8. Spam & Platform Abuse
- No mass unsolicited messaging, link farming, or off-platform payment circumvention for content/services offered on GoFans.
- No malware, phishing, or attempts to breach Platform security.
Creator Responsibilities
- Complete identity (KYC) verification truthfully before receiving payouts.
- Deliver what you promise to your Fans — memberships, products, and perks as described.
- Moderate your own community spaces (comments on your posts) in line with these Guidelines.
- Disclose sponsored content where required by law.
Reporting & Enforcement
- Report content or users: use the in-app Report button on any post, message, or profile, or email grievance@gofans.in.
- Reports are reviewed by our moderation team; we act on valid reports within the timelines prescribed under the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
- Enforcement actions, depending on severity and history: content removal → warning → feature restriction → temporary suspension → permanent termination and forfeiture of pending payouts where permitted by law → reporting to authorities for illegal content.
- We may act without prior notice for severe violations (e.g., child safety, explicit content, fraud).
Appeals
If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, write to grievance@gofans.in within 7 days with your username and details. Appeals are reviewed by a person not involved in the original decision.
